As the guests arrived at the ball they pr fi nted their invitations and were admitted to the dance hnll which was dr,?orat»;d to repre sent the interior cf a jail house. At midnight to the tune of “Th J Music Goes Round and Round,'' these balloons wnre released and floated among the gay throng of dancers. About 400 guests were present. This was the first dance given by the Dames club and marked the opening of thfa holiday season.
