matrons and misses, entertained at
the Dreamland hall, Monday
evening, D| e mber 27, 1937.
As the guests arrived at the ball
they pr fi nted their invitations
and were admitted to the dance
hnll which was dr,?orat»;d to repre
sent the interior cf a jail house.

were hundil ds of balloons. At
midnight to the tune of “Th
J Music Goes Round and Round,''
these balloons wnre released and
floated among the gay throng of
dancers. About 400 guests were
present.
This was the first dance given
by the Dames club and marked the
opening of thfa holiday season.

Partridge. Miss Partridge gave a
short talk. Miss Foxall played the
piano nnd sang many beautiful
