Uncle Gil was made to fool that his efforts to create a spirit of cooporation for the common good of all, was real ly taking root, when he met Mr. C. \V. Porter, one of the sponsors of the Me ropolilan Guidite Cultural club, lie wub inferred yy hpii that (duh hull voted to donate $10 to the Guidite picnic fund. He further informed Uncle Gil that the money to be donated was a part of the money realized from the Guidite club May Day Festival and that the club was using this method to show i s apprecaition for this wonder ful progam, which was spon sored by the Omaha Guide, through which hundreds of boys and girls of Omaha were given the opportunity to display their talent in song. Here is true Christianity, a spirit of brotherhood, an atmosphere of working together that hun dreds of boys and girls might be happy. Oh, for a thou sand other to boost rather than knock, to refrain from feeling that it is all together holy to receive and sinful to give in return. This organiza tion undoubtedly, has as its mo tto, "Help ye one another” which to 'he writer’s mind is paramount to the success of not only the youth, but would mean a salvation to the adult of our race. Uncle commends Me ropolitan Guidite Cultural 1 club on its spirit of cheerful s cooporation to assist in creatine the proper enviroment for the youth of our city. --o—— Omaha Guide Publishing Oo.
