Mr. Gamble Duncan has gone to White Cloud, Kas., where he will remain for a month visiting rela tives and friends. Calvary Girls to Meet Bethel Center Softball team Calvary girls will play Bethel Center girls, Saturday, May 29th at Calvary. Calvary Mission meetings have been resumed at the church every Wednesday. Mrs. Olino Harvey returned from Detroit, Mich., May 17tti. Union Mission At Calvary Union Mission meeting was held Sunday afternoon, May 23rd, at Calvary Baptist churdh. Stgmon was preached by Rev. Clayton, pas tor of Beulah Baptist church. Per sons attending this meeting had the privilege of hearing the piano recently purchased by Calvary. Mrs\ Mary Wilson suffered a relapse. Mrs. Luki Mock, who recently suffered a fall, is still confined to liter home from her injuries. Mrs. Mixon Called to Iowa, City Mrs. Willie Mixon was called to Iowa City, May 19th to the bedside of her nephew, Mr Robert Christ mas, who is undergoing treatment. Attending physicians found it ne cessary to perform a second oper ation. Mrs. Anna Mae Workman has returned from Iowa City where she underwent treatment. Mrs. Mignon Redick plans to leave around June. 1st for Detroit, Mich., where she will join her husband. Mr. Charles Hall is ill ut his home. Miss Lula Mae Hall w-as the dinner guest of Mrs. Rosa Harris on Sunday, May 23rd. Mr. and Mrs Pamie Gilbert were the dinner guests of Mr, and Mrs, Easley Simmons on Sunday, May 23 rd. Beulah planning Revival Buelnh Baptist church will begin its rovic.il sometime after J:une 1st, according to reports. Rev- J. H. Patton of Sioux City, la., will con duct the meetings. Mr. Cnrter Fletcher, of St. Paul, Minn., returned to his home the fi'st of the week after spending tw'o days visiting his brother, Mr Russell Fletcher. Mrs. C. Clubs 20th CENTURY The 20th Century Civic and Art dub mot May 20th with Mrs. Ger trude Carbins. Sor»e eighteen mem bers were present. Mrs. Tillie Reese Mrs. Gertrude Green and Miss Lula I Mae Hall will be delegates at the Federation meet in this city on i June 28, 29, 30.
