Dear Public: Have you taken on
newness, freshness and vitality?
Have you started your new work?
Have you cleaned u,p, or are you
still sleeping, waiting, putting off?
If you are still hibernating, would
n’t it be well that you throw off
your worn out self—the dull, dead
hide, shed the out-lived thoughts
and burdens? There is much to do
but you cannot do it ifyouare not
refreshed. So get up, start today.
Do one task for God. What is a
hard task today will be easy next
time.
Sunday school was well attend
ed The lesson was interesting. The
pastor spoke for the junior church,
at the 11 a. m. sermon and at 8
p. m. All services were very spirit
ual with good attendance. The 11
o’clock service was especially spi
ritual, taken from Isaiah, “J'esus,
the Wonderful Counsellor.”
To the sick we say, “Make known
unto the Lord of thy case and He
will help thee ”
The thought for the day is, “O
give thanks unto the Lord, make
known His deeds among His peo
ple.”
