The lesson, “John’s Picture of the

to Us? (Should it mean any less
tha* true love and sacrifice, salva

his life for a friend. Christ gave
His life for friends and foes alike.
We are to believe in Jesus and ac

Giving Everything Away.” LeRoy
Jackson joined the church- Rev. L.

Jubilee. Rev. Rosser brought out
tha idea of the year of the cruci

said, “in the year of Jubilee people
gave as a sacrifice everything to
make the others happy. Christ had
no land or mdney to give, but he
gave his life that man might en

Spring and the Resurrection
It is very appropriate to cole-,
irate the Resurrection of our Lord
it such a time a* this- Though some
luys are cold and disappointing,
ild man winter’s time is out. Wild
reesc and ducks arc returning from
heir southern resorts, trees are
x'ginning to bud and sobin are
inging; everywhere in nature
lie re seems to be signs of spring.
Though men celebrate Easter
eromoniously, there is much need
or the true spirit of Easter.
Inasmuch as we shall observe na
me shows signs of nctw life, men
vomen and children dress in new
rarmients or clean up the 0ld gar
nent*—Everyone of us should
•ealizo that these actions should
ay, “I am resurrected, I have new
ife: I am a new creature.” The
elebration of Easter does not avail
mything of itself, but being a
'new creature.”
A TRAGIC WARNING—Actf
lents do happen but young people
p'erywhero should realize that they
ike older persons, should live a
‘ready life ” In memory of such
i tragedy we quote: “As the long
