Dorsey was recorded as “that rich nigger front north Miami” by attorneys in the hearing In spite of testimony of several witnesses that Williams was brutal ly manhandled in the Miami jail by four policemen, no action against them has been taken to date REFUSE TO REGISTER New York, Oct- 24 (C)—Twenty nine of Father Divine’s flock, who began singing and shouting when their heavenly names, such 'as "Sin cere Smile” and “Wonderful Wis dom,” were refused registration for voting Wednesday, were taken to the West 123rd street police station where the heavenly names were booked for the record. The Divine ltes turned the police station into a “Peace Mission” with singing and shouting. They were to be tried in night court.
