14 The Nebraska Independent OCTOBER 25, 190 gOOOOOCOCOCOOOOCOOOCXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX)OOOOOOOOOOCX)J Weekly Market Report JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCC LIVESTOCK MARKET (Special Market Letter from Nye & Buchanan Co., Live Stock Commis sion, South Omaha, Neb. South Omaha, Neb., Oct. 24. The stormy weather is responsible for the light receipts of cattle so far this week, but we think it will also have the effect of starling many cattle to market sooner than owners intended as we understand the range in west ern Nebraska is covered with several inches of snow. The market can be quoted from steady to 20 cents high er than the close of last week, de sirable killers of both cow and steer stock showing the most advance. Al though feeders are some higher they will show enough extra shrink on ac count of the weather .to more than cover the difference in price. We quote: Choice steers $5.906.50 Fair to good $4.905.80' one trade being reported to the secre Common to fair $4.404.85 Bulls and stags $2.004.00 Choice heavy feeders $4.005.00 Fair to good. $3.253.90 Grass cows $2.003.80 Veal calves $i.006.00 Hogs are selling off a little nearly every day.
