J. M. Hayes of Villa Rica, Ga., has
the honor of sending in the first en
rolled Watson and Tibbies club. .
Twenty-one voters in his vicinity have . ;
pledged themselves to vote for their -uf
gallant leader. Mr. Haynes says: u
"Please find enclosed $3. We had a;
little meeting Saturday night at the
school house and elected W. A. Cheves
chairman, and J. K. Nalley, A. B. Bag- -
well, Allen Brown and Robert Yates
as organizers in our district. I hear
from other districts in our country
they are at work. Tell the boys up
in your state that -we expect to send
Watson and Tibbies electors up from
Georgia. The fire is kindling and the
wind is rising."
Mr. Hayes number in the Old Guard
files was 12,393. The club he sendsin
will take that number.
Let us see how many clubs the em
pire state of Georgia can organize in
the next thirty days. -Constitution and
other printed matter Is now being pre
pared at headquarters and will -soon be
sent out. In the meantime hustle out
and find the names of the men who
will pledge themselves to vote for
Watson and Tibbies.
