sionaries are lo(«.ated. Talcing the stations in
the order ok their esta«blisl1ment, we have

South opened up work there. Mr. and Jlr9.
Winther also lived there for a short while.
Mr. Linn is now the resident missionary.
There is a eongregation and a kindergarten,
und three Sundayssehools are earried on in
different parte of the eit)·. At OLL a short
qligtanee from Sakra, there is also a eongre
Lation and a kindergarten, and both plaees
have resident pastors.
As Kumamoto work was opened in
1898. Here-, as at Sagt-, there is a ehureh
huildiug and a resideut pastor. illerse is also
Kyushu Galtuin, a middle sehool run by the
mission, and the theologieal seminary, at
which diesem. stirewalst, Winther and Fiel
sen are teaehing, together with Several Jap.
anese Reve. Winther and Nielsen are giv
iug all their time to the Seminary work. lt
is- our hope in the near future to get a good
up—to-date huilding for our 9en1inary. so

Kurume station was opened up in
1901 by Reva. Wsinther and Youemura. You
have heard so much about Icurume that I
need not tell you about the splendid ehureh
building, Tour gift, nor about the gix or
more sunday—ochools and the kindergarten.
