For this reason Denmark was
prevented from protesting against

treaty, but the North Slesvigers
never gave up their rights.

nationality and their Danish

tions and propaganda
It can therefore not be em
phasized strongly enough that
Denmark wishes kor a solution
along purely national lines, not
only because this- is in accord
with its own real keelings and
best interests, but because it con
korms with the often expressed
principles ok the Allies and Ame
rica, that the new national set
tlements must be just and kinaL
The Danish nation wants ke
turned to Denmark the Danishi
parts ok slesvig in such a way
as not to give cause kor future
misunderstandings. This stand is
in kaet only a continnation ok

tained during the war with eqnal
