Many men are hrought to the base hoepital to have some physical defect remedied, and the lange etakk ok empert physicians and surgeons is constantly at work to ismprove the health and etliciency of the Twentysseventh Division. Too much preise can not be given to the hospital au thoritiee kor the splendjd care given the men. It accounta to a Iarge extent for the eplendid health record established hy this Division. About a month sage I received a letter from a Mrs. C. Wagner ok Rochester, N. Y., in which she ask me ik I would lood up her boy, IIarold, who was a bus ler in the 108th Inkantry. she had read ok my work here in the liocheeter Democnat, and ehe wrote, «I was pleased to note iyou were from Jamestown, and perhaps paetor o«k the church in which I was confirmed many years age. Cul bertfon er en By beliggende ca. 21X2 Mil fra Missouriflodcn paa Grcat Nortbcrn Hovedlinie fra St. Paul, Minn., til Portland, Oregon. Byen ligger fmukt lige paa Græns sen af MissouriflodiDalen, den bar det fladc Land ud imod Flo ben, og ParadigiDalen paa en lang Strækning Øst fra Byen, og det met-e bakkede Land paa den modfatte Side. Byen selv er ikke i det- unge Westen, ea. 700 Jud byggere. Byen hat et godt Mejeri, som ejes og ledes as to danske Mænd, en dansk Skomager, to danske Skroeddere, en daan Re stauration, dansk Meelkmand, to Dunste, som jhar Lysbilleder For retning. Vi har endnu ikke Kirke eller Menighed, men en Bestyrelse as sem Medlemmer, bestaaende af: Sekretæer, Kasserer, og tre Tru stees, for Den danske evangeliske lutherske Forsamling i Culbertson. Prcesten fra Dane Valley kommer herind og holder Gudstjeneste to Gange om Maaneden Danse Valley Menigheds Kirke er ca. 10 Mil fra Byen. Past. Johansen, har optaget Sondngsskoleakbejdet idlandt nok saa stor en Flok af danske Born i Culbertson og Omegn. Dersom her kunde komme nogle flere danske Familien knnde her snart blive en blomstrende Menighed. Dersom De trenker paa at saa Deres eget Hjem; kam op at se os.
