GILBERT M. HITCHCOCK, candidate
for United States Senator, has rep
resented the Second District in Congress
for six years. By reason of his ability
and energy he has won a commanding
position in the National Legislature, He
is responsible for the Ballinger expose.
He is the man who fought for and forced
the enactment of the Postal Savings Bank
He represents the progressive
mht or the west. His vote is mvan-
ably recorded on the side of the people.
One of the largest employers of labor in
the west, he has never had a sign of
trouble with his employes. His employes
are always his loyal supporters. He is
the first Nebraska-born man to represent the state in congress,
and is thoroughly familiar with its needs, its hopes, its aspira
tions. In the United States Senate Mr. Hitchcock will make
Nebraska a militant factor in National affairs. . He will serve
no interests save those of the people.
