FRANK M. TYRRELL. A Member of the Legal Profession Who Has Won Recognition. Frank M. Tyrrell, Deputy County At torney for Lancaster county, was born on a farm near the present town of Stockton, Jo Daviess county, Illinois. He attended the public schools of his native county until he was 17 years old, when he began teaching school during the winter months and con tinued for three years, during the fall and spring terms attending the Illinois State University at Normal. He, paid his expenses at this institution by teaching during the winter months and working as a farm hand during the summer season. During his college lite he was a member of the Fhiladel phian society. - In 1881 he was elected; principal of the school at Nora, Illinois, a position Le held for two years. He then began the study of law at Galena, Illinois In Smith county, Kansas, and Eastern Nebraska. He also negotiates loans upon real estate for both borrower and lender. Mr. Sieck is a broad minded and public spirited citizen and one who is interested and influential in the busi ness advancement of the city. A Great Concern That Employs Union ' Labor Throughout Prominent among the manufacturing enterprises of Lincoln is the Lincoln Sash, Door and Manufacturing com pany, located at the northeast corner of 'Twenty-first and X streets. The officers of this concern are gen tlemen of ability and integrity, welt ki'own in commercial circles. They are broad-minded and honor able citizens who have the welfare and growth of Lincoln at heart. This concern has always maintained a friendly attitude towards labor, and as long as its affairs are conducted is. the present commendable manner we wish for it an era of ever-increasing success and popularity. LINCOLN -LUMBER CO. A Big Business Concern That Greatly ' Adds To Lincoln. A building supply concern that Is entitled to plaee and prominence in this edition is the Lincoln Lumber company, located at 100 North Six teenth street. The stock carried includes lumber, lath, shingles, sash, doors, mouldings, etc., and in quality; and price meets any and all legitimate competition. The proprietor, J. S.
