Entering Town Sites.
The following correspondence will show
that the act of the last Legislature of the
Territory, designating the County Commis
sioners aa the proper persons to enter Town
Sites, in not recognized by the Commissioner
of the Land Office.
It is a question of doubt whether the Judges
of Probate, or the United States Judges, can
be regarded aa "Judgea of the (Vanity Court."
As soon as that doubt rs removed, notice wi.l
be given. In the mean time no entering cf
towns not Incorporated can be made.
A copy of the act of the last Legislatme
will be placed in the hands of the Commis
sioner, and. under the circumstances, the eu-
triea already made stav ne confirmed.

Ws think we cm show how much cheaper
it is to take the Lady's Book at Three Dol
lars than any other magazine at Two Dollars
We will take a late number of both. The
Two Dollar Magazine contained 30 articlea,
the Lady's Book 62.
The Two Dollar Magazine contained 32 en
gravings, the Lady's Book on.
Th Two Dollar Magazine contained 64 pa
ges. the Lady'a Book 100.
Twenty-four more engravings, twenty six
mor articlea, ana miriy-six more pages
nearly double th quantity. . Tb lowest club
price of the Two Dollar Magazine is $1,25;
lowest club price of Lady' Book 1,07, only
42 cents difference in the price, which is three
and a half cents en each number, and for that
sum (three and a half centa), you receive
twenty-six more articles, twenty-four more
engrv.mgs. and thirty-six more page month
ly certainly a very cheap three and a half
centa' worth. This view of the case haa
probably never before been presented, but it is
a true statement, which any lady can con
vince herself of by comparing the two maga
zines.
