The Ladies are particularly invited to give
them a call. For particulars see their

have those that are indebted to him, come
up to the rack and shell out lh smooth

Proposals will be received for build,

It is easier to contract the vices cf others
than to impart to them our own virtues,

Our anxiety to avoid bodily infection can
be exceeded only by our total in liflerenr
to that which is mental. There is a
moral as well as a physical cholera, and
yet, while we are half frightened to death
at the approach of the one, we voluntar

lives, to the attacks of the other.
Tht Hteemshin Leviathan w successfully
floated In the Thames on Sunday, Jan. SI.
Arrangement had been perfected to complete
the launch on the day previous, but the pre
valence of a heavy gate rendered a postpone,
ment lm terative, and, a Sunday proved most
a isp'elous. It was determined t proceed with
tie cpvations, rather than encounter the
risks which a further lengthened delay would
have ei t tiled. Tne final floating of the great
ship was effected with - perfect ease, and no
accident of any kind occurred, although the
river was literally covered with boats full of
people, and the timber forminig the cradles,
wnich had been keept Sown by the weight or
the vessel, ascended with great force some
twenty or thirty feet abovt the surfae of the
water. The scene was a brilliant one, and
the enthusiasm of the multitude who witness
ed the launch was manifested by loud and
continued cheering.
Te Leviathan was towed by four powerful
tug-boata to her moorings opposite Dep'ford,
where she will remain until her internal ar
rangements sr completed.
