Bluejay Cagers Prepared to Give Marquette Five Battle Tomorrow Night - y Wisconsin Five Will Enter Fray f \\ i tli Sub Lineiip Second Stringers Credited With 19 to 17 Victory Over John Carroll Uni versity Last Thursday. IIK Creighton uni versity Blue jays, with their third North Central ron ferenre basket ball championship dang ling from tlieir re spective belts, and with 13 consecutive wins tills season be hind them, are prim and loaded for their elasli with Marquette at the Hilltop gym Sat tw ilight. Followers of the Blue and Whitt; all-eonqueroriiiK quin tet were inclined to sigh and opine that tiie game would lie another waHtaway for the Bluejays when word was received at Omaha that (lie five regulars on the Marquette team k had been ordered to turn in tlieir suits as punishment for attending tiie junior prom. But word which was shot from Milwaukee soon after this news puls the affair in a new light, and an easy victory over Marquette is one thing Coach Seliahlnger does not anticipate. For those substitutes of Coach Mur ray's tore into the John Carroll uni . versitjs last Thursday- night to win a 19 to 17 victory over the quintet which had previously crushed the Marquette regulars under a 36 to 16 count. Anyway; fight is what puts the ginger and snap into a cage contest, and these Marquette second string ers have an abundance of this com modity; so a pleasant night is prom ised the Creighton five. Tickets are on sale for the game at the regular ticket stations. FEATHERWEIGHTS TO FIGHT TONIGHT New York.
