Two Others Given 90 Day

Three of the seven suspects arrested
tills week as members of an alleged
bandit ring were taken Wednesday
morning to Glenwood, la., to face
tri'il for breaking Into boxcars and
a store there. Two other members
»f the alleged ring were given 90-day
sentences In police court on vagrancy
charges, while the supposed ‘'queen,"
39-year-old Cora Hansen, and the
other girl, Eva Houston, 16, are still
being held by juvenile authorities.
James D. Grant, Theodore Warner
nnd Harry Hack, who were taken to
Glenwood Wednesday morning, have
already confessed the robbery, with
eight others, to Omaha police. The
other confessed robberies Included
safe robberies In various Nebraska
towns.
k Dell Allen, 1604 Burt street, and
his admitted associate, Mrs. Purdic
Wanrow, mother of Eva Houston,
were both given 90-day Jail sentences
when they were arraigned In police
court Wednesday morning on
vagrancy charges.
Mrs. Wnnrow'a 13-year-old son, Wil
liam, testified against Allen st the
hearing, declaring that Allen had
supplied him with tools and had com
pelled him to steal automobile tires,
which he said Allen sold. Allen was
charged only with vagrancy, however,
as Information against him was In
^^deflnlte.

of the office of Robinson A Robin
son, veterlnarles, and the Park
pantorlum here over the weekend
has brought to a climax a series of
petty thefts In Atlantic during the
pasl month.
Bloodhounds brought hers early
Monday morning took a trail to the
home of a suspect, the Identity of
whom police decline to divulge.
The cash drawer at the vetlnary
hospital was rifled and the safe In
the office of the pantorlum was look
ed. Neither was locked, it was said.
