A clasec were taken by their Instruc

Mary Wilson, to the office of the
Clarinda Herald, and shown the ne
cessary quirks and squirms of a live
editor and his staff on the date of
publication.
They chose the busiest hour for
the expedition, while the big presses
with attached folder* were rapidly
turning out the edition: saw the pa
| pers stamped, thrown to the assem
bling rack, rapidly placed by the six
carrier boys, and whisked away by
the bicycle brigade.
Paul B. Woolson, editor, and Her
hert Blakosle, business manager, took
time to explain the "how and why"
of everythin*, the “ups and downs"
and “ins and outs" of the monster
linotypes.
The editorial staff of the Junior
Cardinal will be chosen early in No
vember.
