Scouting Program in
Full Swing.

Columbus, Neb., August 2.—The
Nebraska state boy scout camp, being
held at Camp Sheldon is filled to over
flowing with scouts registered from
19 towns in the state.
Norfolk, with 24 boys and four
leaders has the largest single dele
gation in camp. Other large groupe
are from Orleans, Aurora, Silver
Creek, Albion, Osceola and Stanton.
Grant Johnson, the scoutmaster from
Orleans brought 12 of his scouts
more than 200 miles to camp. The
Dther towns represented are Ord,
York, Shelby, Stromsburg, Geneva,
Ansley, Genoa, Battle Creek, Nebras
ka City, Columbus and Central City.
The camp schedule has been adapt
ed to the scouting program. j
John Moore, general secretary of
the Norfolk Y. M. C. A., is director
of the scouting activities throughout
camp. He plans to give every scout
a chance to leave camp a first clasu
scout, even if he came a tenderfoot.

statement made by Osato. Mr. Osato
returned last November from Japan
after being lost in the district ruined
