Northwood, la.. July 8.—While the
rest of the family was away to a
motion picture show, Mrs. Mabel
Wallace, living on a farm three mllee
northwest of here forced her 9-year
old son, Charles, to take poison and
then swallowed some herself.
When the father and daughter
reached home the mother and boy
were writhing In agony In a bedroom.
Both died shortly after a doctor had
reached them.
A cancerous growth on Mrs. Wal
lace's face is believed to have de
ranged her.
