Emily Viola Allen, 1610 I.ocust
afreet, testified that Oscar Allen,
whom she married March 24, 1923,
gave her Just $3 during their mar
ried life. She said he didn't work
a great deal.
Two Slayers Executed.
Tittle Rock, Ark., June 27.—Spur
geon Ruck and "Will Bettis, negroes,
convicted of first degree murder In
connection with the slaying of Mrs.
Effie Tatimer, a white woman, near
Catcher, December 29, were electro
cuted at the state penitentiary today.
