ed by the addition thereto of a Fecito* to he known
a* Section ISA of Article IV, which proposed sect so
reads as follows:
• Article IV, Section ISA. Whenever property Si
purchased or acquired by the exercise of the power
of EMINENT DOMAIN under the provision of Section
ST, Article 111. of the City Charter (Sec. 67. Art. HI,
Chapter II*, Session I-aw» of Nebraska 1919-1921) for
streets, alleys, avenue* or boulevards or for enlargi:;*,
widening or extending any of the aforenamed. THE
ASSESSMENT OF SPECIAL TAXES to pay all ot a
portion of the cost of acquiring auch property as provid
ed therein shall be made, unless th# City Council shall
provide otherwise under the terms of thin Charter, aa
follows:
The eo*t so assessed shall he levied at one 11m*
upon on the property and become delinquent aa hereit
provided. ONE TENTH of the total amount shall b«
1 delinquent in fifty days after auch levy; one-tenth in

of five and one half per rent per annum with interest

cial taxes and assessments levied in such proceeding
shall constitut* a sinking fund for the payment of
bonds with Interest Such bonds shall not be issued
until the special taxes for such Improvement have been
levied and only for the purpose of financing auch im
