Police bulletins will be broadcast
from (Station WOAW every night at
ti hereafter, with the exception of
Wednesday and Sunday nights.
A. C. Greene, sheriff at Denison,
la., in h circular letter advising all
Iowa sheriffs of the fact, urges them
to equip their offices with receiving
sets, and to supply information con
cerning stolen cars and other police
information, to Station WOAW by
mail, telegraph or telephone.
He declares in the letter that he
was enabled to recover a stolen car
last wek as the result of information
concerning it broadcast from WOAW.

Lincoln. Feb. 20.—Gov. Charles AV
Bryan this morning said he has re
i rived no oflters of gasoline for snip
by tho state, and that he has received
no reply to his telegram of yester
day to‘the federal trade commission,
asking that the commission supply
him with gasoline to be resold to the
public.

A. A. Muse, manager of the Flor
sheim Shoe store has returned from
the east after attending'the national
shoe convention at 1 hicago.
In speaking of the trend of style
in men's footwear, Mr. Muse said
light tans are gaining in favor, newest
models show a wider shaped toe.
