^Good Rooms in Nice Locations Are Advertised Under “Rooms For Rent” Increasing Number of Stock Trucked to Omaha Prove Value. Omaha has more paved roads lead ing into It than any other city In Ne braska, and Douglas county has more paved roads than any other county in the state, according to William Kills, of the Chamber of Commerce. "Two highways, the Military and No. 76, are paved all the way across the county,” he said. “There are others that are paved at least part way. "That they help the city is shown by the fact that last year more than 300,000 head of hogs, almost an equal number of sheep and 58,000 head of cattle were brought to Omaha for market In trucks. Good roads are helping to build up our industries.” More paving is planned on county roads during the coming season. Sev eral of the roads that are partially paved will be paved the remaining distance to the county line, and Oma ha will have even greater road facili ties in the future.
