Washington, Dec. 13.—Opposition
to tno “equal rights" amendments
sponsored by the National Women's
party was voiced at the White House
today by a delegation ot women rep
resenting women’* organizations in
the American Federaiton of Labor.
The spokesman, Miss Anna Neary,
told President Coolidge that 44 slates
have laws limiting the hours of labor
for women In factories, mines and
stores, that some states have mini
[mum wage laws protecting working
mothers and that ‘ there la scarcely
a single state that has not some
labor law which this amendment
would probably destroy.”

boycott of .Switzerland.
Russia and Switzerland have been

was intensified by the acquittal of
the assassin of M. Vorovxky, former
Russian envoy to Italy, at lausanne.

by Representative McKenzie, repub
