Fremont, Neb., June 22. — Word hag reached this city of the arrest of William Eaton, former Northwestern telegrapher In Fremont, at Le Mars, la., charged with embezzlement of American Express company funds. Eaton was formerly station agent and representative of the American Express company at Hinton. !«.. where he was at one time mayor of that city. He is accused of being $585 short in his accounts and has been bound over to the September term of the grand jury term of court. He is the father of two children.
