Neb., May *6.— Schuff, former mayor of the .and senior member of the firm f'Schuff and Sons, owners of the mer house and the Schuff Cafe terla, died here. Henry Schuff, jr., a junior in the University of Pennsy lvania, arrived home an hour be fore his father died and was urged by him to complete his studies and was advised that education Is of first Importance. Mr. Schuff entered business in Orand Island in 1834 as restaurateur, later buying the Palmer house and also building the present Schuff cafeteria and rooming hmia# in an other section of the business district. His sons. J^ester and Fred are' as sociated with him in the management of the two properties. He was elect ed mayor in 1905 and was twice elect ed, his administration being featured by the lhauguratlon of paving in the city and the establishment of muni cipal lighting plant.
