The Golden Beats scored 39 1-2 points this after noon, beating Prince tion, its nearest rival by 8 1-2 points. Yale was third with 23 points, and the fniversity of Penn sylvania had 22 1-2 pmce. It was a great meet, featured by Splendid performances and upsets In form. The best work of the day was probably the running of "Boots" ! Lever, the Pent} captain. In the 100 yards. He beat a great field and covered the distance in 9 4-5 seconds. The biggest upset of (he meet was the running of f\l Leconey of Lafayette. He was favored to repeat as the winner of both the 100 and 220 yurds. hut Lever and Clarke, the lat ter from John Hopkins, went over the line ahead of him in the short dash, in the 250 yards h£ could not get better than fourth. The time in the 100 yards Was fast and it gave Leconey no excuse in being third, but the 220 yards was won in 21 3-5 seconds, which Should have been easy time for him.
