A large crowd of Omaha fans got
up with the birds yesterday morning
and hied themselves to the AkSar
Ben track to watch the horses being
prepped for their many stak*- engage
ments here. Among those who joined
the railbirds were Charles Trinthl \
Nelson Updike, Joe Byrne, George
Brandeis and others. They took a
keen interest in the trials and staved
until the last horse had left the
truck. The course was fast and good
time was made by the bangtails as
they winged through the stretch.
