Dead Man Will Recover
rhoenix. Ariz., Jan. 30.—The watch

Two Omahans Killed
in Salt Creek Explosion

The funeral services of Mr. Gal

Bids Opened for Paving
to Cost More Than $300,000
Paving bids opened by city council
yesterday Indicated that the National
Construction company and the Hugh
Murphy Paving company were low in
most cases.
The list of 35 Improvement districts
comprises 74,000 yards of new work
and 50,000 yards of resurfacing and
repaving. The estimated cost will
be more than $300,000, according to
the city engineering department.
According to estimates, American
tourists spent approximately $70U,
000,000 abroad in 1922.
