Work on the Meridian highway bridge across the river from Yankton, S IX, will not be stopped when the river is frozen over. Plans are under way to haul the rock for revetment work over to the Nebraska aid on the ice. It will take 7,600 ton of rock to finish the job and this material will be pulled across tha Ice with a steam engine on the Nebraska shore.
