of the Axe, charged with havitiK vio
lated the honor nntl dignity of the leg
islature of yueiiec. The bill now
needs only the signature of the lieu
tenant governor to become a luw.
Roberts was found guilty by the
legislature of publishing an article a'
sertlng that the real murderers of
Blanch Oarneau, found dead In Mon
treal In July, 1920, went free beeauntt
they were protected by member of
the legislative assembly. A coroner'
Jury decided that Mis Oarneau, a
working girl, had been strangled to
death.
