According to friends, Bishop Fatwr
of Montana, more than a year ago In
veKtlgated gossip linking the names
of Itev. Mr. Chrlstler and Mrs. Carle
ton and reported such gossip untrue.
Judge Frank Carleton, husband of
the woman, left for Los Angeles last
spring, and is supposed to he there
now.
Mrs. Carleton went south as super
intendent of a Chautauqua circuit.
Klie returned to Havre a, few duys
ago and has been quartered at a local
hotel.
