Tins week spring wheat is beginning
to arrive in the northwest markets.
The combination of these influences
caused a heavy tone in all grain
markets with prices reaching new low
levels in some instances. There was
little said of export business and re
ports from the growing corn were
excellent.

to 3c lower, and barley nominally lc
to 2c lower.

The Armour Grain company paid for
the greater part of the grain on July de
livery. Deliveries were heavy. The later
deliveries were 1,070,000 bushels wheat,
467.000 buahela corn, 549,000 bushels oats,
76.000 bushels rye and 50,000 pounds ahort
ribs. For the month of July they were:
Wheat, 2.803,000 bushels; corn, 11,161.000
bushels; oata. 7,880,000 bushels; rye, 550.
000 bushels: lard. 4,100,000 pounds; short
ribs, 300,000 pounds.
It Is , understood that there has been
very heavy buying of short wheat the past
few dsys by the largest New York In
terests. It waa their buying late Saturday
that made the late advance, and there was
apparently more of It today.
Contract stocks or wneat in unicago are

last week. Corn, 2,099,000 bushels, de

for centrifugal, with buyers holding off.
The raw sugar lutures marsei was
easier In sympathy with the spot mar
