This quiet young woman of or dinary stature was en route from Los Angeles to New York, where she will engage in .the preparation of a jicw crook play whose name has not been announced. '' Guarded By Brother. Raymond Griffith, who will play lief brother in the new screen pro duction, was one of the young men who guarded her along the station platform and out into the station. Others in the party were Tod lirowning, who directed her in "The Virgin of Stamboul" and "Outside the Law." and who will direct her in the forthcoming play; Leo McCrarey, assistant director; William Fildew, camera man, and Earl Taggcrt, cut ter. "My husband is home in Beverly Hills directing the construction of our itew home," she confided. New Home Nest. The new home nest of Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler Oakman will be ready about September 1. Lieutenants to Make Longest Army Flight San Diego, Car.. July 22. Lieu tenants C. L. Weber ind Virgil Hines of the army will leave Rock well field here next week on one of tlie longest air mapping flights ever attempted by army airmen. The flight will be made in accord ance with plans of the air service to photograph thoroughly and map every air lane in the United States. Omahan to Read Sleuths at Cheyenne Frontier Days Seeking someone to hold the "wild wtst" in peaceful channels, Cheyenne, Wyo, has come to Omaha. Benjamin Danbaum, detective ser geant of the Omaha police force, is the man selected. Danbaum left yesterday afternoon to take charge of a force of detec tives that will be .on duty Monday when the Cheyenne Frontier Days' celebration opens.
