Cireenlcaf Simpson, 77, one of the
organizers of the Union Stockyards
company of Onulia. died at his home
in Cleveland, O., yesterday, accord
ing to a dispatch received here last
ntht.
Air. Simpson had never made his
home in Omaha, according to local
stockmen, but he spent a Urne por
tion of his time attending to busi
ness interests in Omaha.

by announcing his retirement and

Mr. Ellis said he was sorry to
leave the pastorate as he loved every
member of his congregation but iil
health compelled him lo give up his
mission. Mr. Ellis with his wife and
son will reside on a farm recently
purchased near Dorchester and they
expect to leave South Omaha soon
