chopped parsley, salt and pepper,
one teaspoon ol ntrry powder, one
teaspoon of chopped etiivra. When
the cream sauce is prepared, blend
and atir into it the curry powder:
then add panlrv, chive, Jt and
pepper. Keep it hot over boiling
water while you prepare the eggs.
Having already boiled the ecu, cut
them in lulvet; lay them in a deep
dnli; pour over them the sauce.

fe thoroughly heated, and erve.
' Curried Tomatoei.
An exceptionally appetizing supper

four tomatoes into hot water, re

press lightly to take out the seed.
Cook two onions chopped line until
tender, .with two tablespoons of but
ter. Add a teaspoon of curry pow
der, a bay leaf, a teaspoon of tu
meric (this can be bought -at any
drug store), and a half pint of water
or cocoanut milk. When this mix
ture reaches the boiling point, add
the tomatoes, cover the saucepan
and cook slowly for 20 minutes. Boil
a cup of rice, drain and heap in the
center of a platter. I'lacc the un
broken tomatoes around this, strain
over the juice and serve at once.
