ber of forty, came in upon him and his
family by way of surprise and a general
good time was the lesult.

We were exceedingly sorry that
owing to the critical condition of Mrs.
.larboe we were compelled to close tho
revival meetings so abruptly. The in
terest was splendid and every indlca
cation was for a real revival Mr Jar
boe's work was very much appreciated,
and the hope that he may take up the
work at a later time has been express
ed by many. Tho sympathies of the
entire community go out to Mr. and
Mts. Jarboe in their present afiliction.
At this writing Mrs. Jarboe is making
vary slight gains nt the Mary Lanniiig
Hospital of Hustings.

ous efforts are now being mado to se
cure applicants by all state, county
and local chairmen, in chargo of the
procurement campaign for the 19211
Citizens Military Training Camp. It
is desired to enroll candidates and
complete thociuota for the State of No
braska at as early a date as possible
Young men between the ages of 17
and '21 years who desire to apply for
admission to the training camp should
do so at once. Local and county chair
men will gladly furnish information
regarding applications and physical
examinations. If the name and ad'
dress of the local chairman is not
known, anyone desiiing information
may secuio it by writing to O. E Eng
ler, 1)10 City National Hank, Omaha.
Those selected to attend are tarnish
ed railroad fare to and from camp and
aro supplied with food, olothiug and
medical attention, free of charge, while
they are in camp. The young men
from tho Statu of Nebraska will be
trained at Port Des Moine, Iowa from
August 1 to August Mth.

Mr. Eldrege, tho Sunday shool man,
and Howare, the practical churchman,
will conduct three services in the
Christian church. Mr. Eldredge under-
stands the value of religious education
from the laymun's viewpoint. Come

day at 11 a. in. and then at !! p. in. We
invite all the churches of die town to
attend at the hour they aro not
having Mrviees.
On Sunday evening Rev. Hardman
will preach the baccalaureate seriron
in the Methodist church to our High
School Class of 10211. Ail the ohurches
will participate in this service.
Mrs William Englea gave n tea for
the Aid at the Mission at her home, on
Tuesday afternoon. Several IhiIIcs
from both ends of town attended and
enjoyed tho get-to-gutherness of it.
The Social Circle will hold their
regular meeting and tea with Mrs.
Tatroe, I'Viday afternoon.
