The chorus has a membership of

approved by Board.
The principal oDjcct of this meat

Budget as required by law, for the
maintenance of the State Highway
psystcm in Webster county. Mr. C. K.
Wright the Division Engineer of the
Department of Public works was
present and after a lengthy discus
sion of voad matters in general, tha
Budget for 1022 was arranged Mid
approved by both parties and filed
with County Clerk. Using 1021 fig
ures as a guide it was estimated that
the receipts from auto licenses for
1022 would amount to ?23,331.C2 of
this amount approximately 0010.01
would go to tho County Dragging
Fund.
The sum of not to exceed $7001.08
to bo expended on Federal Highway
north from Red Oloud to Adams coun
ty line, 2075.01 on road west from
Red Cloud to Franklin county line.
For construction and maintenance of
road east from Red Cloud to Nuckolls
county line tho sum of 0000.00. A ly
of tho unexpended money not neces
sary to be used on above mentioned
roads to be used on any county roads
that require attention.

proper funds in payment of same.

Mrs. Ed Dickson Laid to Rest
Mrs. Ed Dickson, who boon in ill
health for somo time passed nwny at
her homo Tuesday morning. Her death
was a shock to tho family as well a's
tho community for her condition had
not been considered serious,
Mabol Truman, daughter of Itev. O.
II. Truman, a former pastor of the
Christian church, was born In thobtate
of Kentucky, Feb. 28th, 1871. In the
yoar 1801 sho was united in marriago
with Mr. Ed Dickson. Tho coromony
being performed by her father at tho
Congregational church in this city. To
this union wero born nlno children.
She was a mombor of tho Christian
Science church.
