COUNTY COMMISSIONERS IN SESSION ON TUESDAY The County Board of Commissioners met as per adjournment at 10 o'clock p. m. with all members present. A petition was presented to the Board signed by .Win. Kirkpatrick and 34 other residents, of Guide Rock and Garfield precints asking for permission to construct a ditch along tho road through sections 15 nnd 1G, town 1, range 9, to the river, for tho purpose of draining the water off adjoining farms. Motion made by Stumphenhorit seconded by Crowell, that this petition be granted. .Motion carried. A committee consisting of F. W. Cowdcn, W. G. Hamilton and C. J. Platto appeared beforo tho Board In regard to the condition of the public road ett from Rod Cloud to Guide Hock. After considerable dhrcusbion of rou(j matters in Webster county the commissioners having charge of this road agreed to do all in their power to improve same as soon as possible.
