started to work immediately tearing
down tho old coal shed cast of the
drpot. This has been in servico for
tho past twenty years and with tho
exception of one at Benkclman is
tho last of its kind on the McCook

Tho first ball game of tho.scaron
was played hero Sunday afternoon at
tho Starke park at which time the
Inavalo team played the local Fire
Department team. Inavalo won the
game by a score of 8 to 1. Tho bat
teries were Leonard and Bean, Slaby
and Huff. Slaby pitched a good
game but his support was poor and
tho local team needs some more
practice.
