Is a Webster County Proposition
There are two District Judges for
this (10th) district to elect thi3 fall.
Webster County is entitled to "tr.e
of them. .
Webster county has never had a
District Judge and the north side of
the district; has had the judge , for
20 years. It is our turn now, especial
ly sjnee there are two judges to elect.
For the convenience of the people
one of the judges should be located
on the south side of the district. That
is right and fair.
The south side counties have united
on Lewis H. Blackledge, Lawyer of
Red Cloud, for judge and he is the
only candidate from the counties of
Franklin, Harlan and Webster.
It is a benefit to our county to have
the judge located 'here. Much business
comes before the judge outside of the
regular terms of court. It brings out
side jieople and business to our county-Terms
of court could be held wKen
needed and the court business dispos
ed of without delay, thus promoting
justice and saving expense.
It will help reduce taxes as the juiy
could be called only when necessary
and excused promptly when there .is
no work for them to do. -
A home man can attend to these
things better than an outside man..
Every voter here can help Webster
County, and help his own interests as
a citizen and taxpayer by voting for
Blackledge for District Judfic.
It is well known that ho is fully
qualified by education and long exper
ience as a lawyer td fill the position,
his standing is high as a lawyer and
citizen and by voting for him you ara
supporting a home man and your
home county, and your own home in
