Listen, 00;
friends, and you
shall hear why
some Cigarettes
are so all-fired
dear
SOME cigarettes are packed in pretty
boxes that certainly don't grow on
trees. Next, they're dolled up and
flavorings are sure getting expensive.
And then, they're priced a bit high so
they'll seem "exclusive." But read how
Spur Cigarettes offer the highest possible
quality at the lowest possible price:
f there are any finer tobaccos from the
Orient and the good old U. Sj. A. tha:i
those selected for Spun:, they must be a
secret that the world has never heard.
And when we got these combined in Spur
Cigarettes, what do you suppose was the
result? Just the best taste and aroma
that any cigarette could give, and Willie
Doll-up or Freddie Flavoring hadn't a
thing to do with it. -.
i r
Spur is ' class" all through
even to the smart "brown-and-i
silver" package, triple-wrapped,
that keeps Spurs fresh and fra
grant. Try out a package oft
Spurs. You'll say "made and
priced for popularity."

Mr. A. T. Holtzcn, Chmn.,
Near East Relief,
Webster County,
Red Cloud, Ncbr.
Mv Dear Mr. Holtzen:
Hooray for Webster County! Wo
are mighty glad to have your letter
with the good ncwd that Rod Cloud
is shipping fourteen boxed of clothing
for Armenia.
We have instructed the Gordon Van
Company, which does our hauling, to
watch out for these at the freight
depot and deliver thorn at the audi
torium where we arc having our pack
ing done in the basement. Wo are on
the last lap of our first car load
reedy to ship now any day.
Wo surely thank you and the other
good people of Nebraska who made
this possible and have contributed
such splendid clothing. Practically
nothing has been thrown out, which I
must say is something unusual in a
clothing drive of this kind. When we
were at the N. E. R. conference in
June, in talking about this clothing
drive, which is nation-wide, they
stated that last year Pennsylvania
sent five car loads, and Mr. Fowle,
Secretary of Foreign Department in
the Now York office, said that about
two car loads of that had to bo dis
carded as useless, because it had not
been well sorted and packed. Wcaro
doing all this here but find very little
to throw out.
Sincerely yours,
CHAS. M. WILHELM,
Secretary
