VICKY FANCY PRICKS
Claioncc Johnston's M'concl annual
inir bred Duroc liojr. sale was held
in Kcd Cloud's now .$80,000 Rosso
sale pavilion, on Fiiday afternoon,'
attracting a lnrifo number of out of
town buyers, as well as a goodly lcl'
re.sentation from aU'ovm the county.
In fact the local suppoit was cNceed
iiiRly good, only tlnee sows being
purchased by breeders outside the
county. Last year Mr. Johnston's
hogs made an average of $107, this
year beating this figure by $511 or
an average of SI 00, the total re-'
ceipts of the sale was $710:1.00, and
once again clearly displays that the
pure bred line pays. '
The following facts and figures con
corning the sale aie furnished us by

Lassiiri! Caroiiiti Lnzsttri! Sw is the most eagerly sought contralto oj a decade. . '
This all, ste goes under exclusive contrast with the Metvnpoliian Opera Co., New t

Why! Because there is only one voice oj such rich, noble beauty in all the world.

Lazzari's Voice
and the New Edison's Re-Creation
are without any difference
'""THESE pidures are drawn from adtual photographs. They show Lazzari in
the ad: of comparing her voice with its RE-CREATION by the New Edison. ,
She sang. Suddenly she ceased to sing, and the New Edison took up the same
song alone. There was no difference. It was only by watching Lazzari's lips
that the audience could tell when she had ceased to sing.
The test made before more than ten thousand music lovers and music critics,
proves there acflually arc two voices of Lazzari. This fall she will sing not only to the music,
lover who sits in the Metropolitan's golden 'Horse shoe, but also to you, where ever you arc
i Both of you will hear identically the same voice. You could even change places it would ,
, make no difference. The voice of Lazzari, as RE-CREATED by the Edison, is inditing- ' s
uishable from her voice as heard on the flage of the Metropolitan Opera House.
