RED CLOUD, W B K Ap K A , 0 H 1 ' i I 'tMMCl 1" I ,.-rr r t m t ii rii r nxv iw nt. iiijn Attention Farmers! The large amount of wheat coming in to our elevator daily, since the threshing season has opened has crowded our storage bins and com pelled us to mak shipments almost every day Occasionaly there are days when it is imposs ible for us to get cars. If you contemplate marketing your wheat phone us in advance so we may be ready to receive it, or tell you just what day to haul it in to us. This will be a a great convenience to us, and will only mean a delay of a day or two for you. Remember when you sell us your grain you not only get the highest market price for it, with honest weights and -tests, but you also receive your PRO-RATEiWtlie profits 'derived from the sale of your wheat to the commission firm. This will more than repay you for the delay. Do our competitors share the profits with you? K.nml Wheat Kanrcd wheat is an improved i strain of Turkey Red wheat, origin ated by the Kansas Experiment Sta tion. Kanred wheat is neither a gold biick nor a freak wonder. It is sim ply a good wheat adapted to the pe culiar conditions of this dry western wheat country. It is an illustration of what is possible in the improve ment of crops and animals through scientific selection. Kanred wheat was grown in a number of Nebraska counties the ! past year and reports show that it outyicldcd the common wheat 5 bu. and upwaids. It has a larger berry and better color, also the straw was stiffcr and stood up better. Kanred Wheat In Webster County Robeit nnd Leonard Reiher of Red Cloud raised Kanred wheat and it yielded 20 bushels while their' Tuikey lied at the side of it yielded 11 bu. They raised 1200 bu. and have about 000 bu. left to sell at 2.45 per bu. at the faim. Wc have a sample of this wheat at the office and will mail out a sample upon loinicst. Farmers want ing some of, this wheat sliould get their older into 'Robert Reiher, Red Cloud, at once, as there is a big 'de mand for this, .wheat , from other j parts of the state,' and' 'tic will turn his surplus w heat to farmers out-1 side of the county. t ' HENRY R.
