Boys and Girls Club Work
Mouthers Hoys' and Girls' Clubs:
Since I have not yet been able to
sec all of you as individuals I am tak-.
inp this means of getting acquainted
and assuring you that you and your
work are not forgotten. However, I'
hope to be able to see each of you
soon and talk over your project work
with you.
We want Webster county to lead in
club work this year but if wo can't
do that wo want to set such a pace
that the other counties will have a
hard time following. We have a
good enrollment in most of the pro
jects and all we have to do now is to
just keep going. You know there aro
three "ups" in club work: "Start up;"
"Keep up"; "Finish up." We have
started up nicely. Let's keep up, and
only a few whom I have seen have
failed to do that so far. Rut the big
thing to look forward to Is to finish
up.
Do you know that tho best way to
bo sure of all these "ups" is to work
with others who are enrolled in the
same project? The way to do that
is to organize a club, get some grown
person who will act as your leader,
have a definite program for your
meetings and keep in touch with
each other. There is more fun to
club work when you do it this way.
Iwish you would talk this plan over
among yourselves so that we can
make definite headway when I see
you.
Anything you want to know about
your reports and be sure not to for
get thorn or your records before I
get to visit you, just drop me a card
at Guide Rock and I will try to help
you.
Yours for better club work,
