The Ever Increasing
Volume of Business
With which we have been favored in the past
year has been gratifying, to say the least. It
has not only pleased us from a view point of so
many dollars and cents. Aside from this it has
served a two-fold purpose convincing us that the
Farmers can as successfully conduct a mercantile
business as they can an agricultural business,
when the same is conducted on an honest business
basis encouraging us to enlarge our stock and
selling vicilities, so that any housewife may en
ter our store and purchase any article in the groc
ery line, in both staple and fancy groceries.
True, we have not estabished a precedent in
eloboratc display of our wares, or in volume of
stock carried, prefering to give our patrons the
more quality, less display and lower prices. We
have proceeded carefully laid a sound foundation
and gradually built mpon it, until now, when we
see our way clear to spread out enough to embrace
