Prevalliufi wind S. W 7 days. The rainfall for June was 2,03 inches less than normal. This looks like a dry time until con trasted with Juue last year when the rainfall was 0.70 Inches. Junior Red Cross Institute A Junior Red Cross Institute will bo held at Hastings July 11th. District No. r, comprising the counties of Hamilton) Kearney, Adams, Clay, Nuckolls, Webster and Franklin, is to be represented in this assembly which precedes tho County Institutes and will maku plans for a program to car ry the woik on to them and thence to every school In tho state. To tlncsh well the grain must be in good condition. 2. Racks must have a tight bottom. 3. Loose bundles should be cleaned up in the field. 4. All grain wagons should he grain tight. 5. Machines should bo fed even by tho pitchers and bundles should bo put in head first. 6. Grain must bo well cleaned up in fields. 7. Machine should bo In good condition. 8.
