Tho Universnty Farm sends out in
structions for ridding tho pantry of
ants. A pound of sugar, a cup of hot
water, one-twentieth of an ounce of
odium neonate dissolved in a little
hot water and added to tho previously
dissolved sugar. Ants will carry this
to their ne-ts and as they eat of it
will die. No doubt this is an effective
method of combating the post, hut we
can buy only two pounds of sugar
now and we'll be darned if wo will go
